EVAGUARD® 203

EVAGUARD® 203 is a liquid preservative based on a combination of benzyl alcohol and an antimicrobial booster of natural origin glyceryl laurate. The addition of glyceryl laurate enhances the effectiveness of benzyl alcohol in interaction with the cell membrane of microorganisms, increasing the preservative activity of the product.

This optimized combination provides a wide range of protection against bacteria, yeast and mold for a wide range of cosmetics in a wide pH range.

EVAGUARD® 203 is approved for use in both washable and indelible cosmetics. It is suitable for use in formulations of natural and organic cosmetics.
